Thanks to the support of donors like you, The Foundation awarded the $2.5 million Center of Excellence in Physical Therapy Health Services and Health Policy Research and Training Grant to Linda Resnik, PT, PhD, FAPTA, Brown University School of Public Health, to establish a multi-site Center on Health Services Training and Research (CoHSTAR)
What is CoHSTAR?
CoHSTAR is a multi-institutional, multi-disciplinary Center dedicated to advancing health services and health policy research capacity in physical therapy. CoHSTAR offers fellowships, hosts visiting scientists, and provides special summer training sessions. To learn more, visit the CoHSTAR website.

CoHSTAR will be holding its first Summer Institute at Boston University June 2016.
The 2-day conference will feature a number of guest speakers, including the following Foundation alumni:

Announcing Faculty and Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunities
The CoHSTAR Fellowship programs provide up to two years of funding to support doctorally trained physical therapist researchers seeking to advance their skills in health services research. The goal of the fellowship programs is to create a cadre of physical therapists who are independent health services researchers.
Fellows will be paired with a CoHSTAR site and faculty mentor and will engage in activities designed to promote a career as a successful health services researcher.
